Jerry Schill

Jerry Schill, CEO & President

Jerry Schill founded Schill Grounds Management in the early 1990s, helping it grow to the point where he is now a nationally recognized leader in landscaping and snow management. A passionate community advocate, he’s the founder of Holiday Feast, an annual charity event that provides free holiday meals in the Cleveland area.

Jim Schill

Jim Schill, Executive Vice President

Jim Schill has had a long career in the commercial landscaping industry. After graduating from Malone University with a B.S. in Business Management, Jim joined Schill. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in helping Schill reach new clients and customers.

Jono Fries, VP of Operations

Jono Fries has spent over 25 years developing multi-unit businesses in both the restaurant and green industries, and he is now doing the same for Schill Grounds Management. A University of Cincinnati graduate, Jono has deep roots in the state of Ohio where he lives with his wife and two children.

Jim and Jerry Schill

1990s

Schill Grounds Management was founded by Jerry Schill, starting as a small landscaping company focused on high-quality service and strong customer relationships.

In the 2000s, Schill expanded into commercial landscaping to serve larger properties, including HOAs, apartments, and healthcare facilities.

In the 2010s, Schill grew into a regional leader and began to offer more unique landscaping services, including landscaping enhancements, snow and ice removal, and commercial landscape construction.
